We stayed here 5 nights and loved it. Very comfortable big room, friendly and helpful service and lovely breakfasts. The location was great - walkable into downtown Victoria and no parking restriction. There is on site parking but sometimes it can be full. Street parking is right outside.
An absolutely fantastic stay! The house and garden are beautiful and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. And the owner and her staff are some of the friendliest and most accomodating people I've ever seen managing an inn. We only stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer.
The Prior was a great place to spend our honeymoon. They left us a beautiful bouquet in our room! Room was lovely and clean. We stayed in the Mentmore room. A Lovely garden view. Breakfast was good too, however they need to refill or keep stock of the mains (bacon,eggs,ketchup). Otherwise would highly recommend.
We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. This place is lovely! Great staff, amazing breakfast, and very comfy bed. It's in a nice quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We are already planning our next trip! Highly recommended!
The building is beautiful and comfortable and the garden is full of hummingbirds. Breakfast is very nice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Cardiff suite, which is in the lower level. Very spacious and had a wonderful jacuzzi tub. It's very close to downtown and the waterfront.
This is the perfect place to stay in Victoria! It's delightfully furnished, comfortable and quiet. There is a full buffet breakfast that is amazingly delicious. The inn is located in the beautiful Rockland district, easy walking distance to Government House gardens, the Greater Victoria Art Gallery and Craigdarroch Castle. We will definitely be back!
This was the perfect b&b. The location was a 6 minute drive to the city center, and walkable to a gorgeous rose garden. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and brought our bags to our room after we dropped them off early. The food was fantastic; We did not eat out for breakfast one time. We ended up getting engaged on this trip, and this place was the cherry on top to such a romantic week. I would book this b&b again in a heartbeat.
Very clean and stylish. Very friendly host. The room we had was spacious and had a jet bath tub which I find is rather more practical than the vintage bath tubs at other places. For breakfast we were served poached eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, fruits, sausage, bacon and more which was delicious. There is even a book room to watch old VCR movies. We will be back no doubt
